Representatives from Azerbaijan, Romania, Georgia and Hungary expressed their full support for the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector project, Trend reports. The project stipulates delivery of liquefied natural gas from Caspian offshore via Georgian Black Sea coast to Eastern Europe.
The meeting was held at ministerial level. The participants in the session heard Japanese, Norwegian, Turkish, Korean and French companies’ proposals concerning realization of the project. The tender will be declared this summer. The AGRI management company is now working on the project’s budget.
The protocol on AGRI realization was signed on February 14 by Azerbaijani, Georgian, Romanian and Hungarian representatives.
