Gazprom to invest more

Gazprom has adjusted its investment program for 2011. 1.18 trillion
rubles will be invested to fulfil the demand for gas. 1.2 trillion
will be spent in 2012 and 2013, deputy head of the holding Alexander
Ananenkov said, RIA Novosti reports.


Deputy CEO Valery Golubev said that investment will be increased in September.


The board of Gazprom approved the investment program for 2011 in
November 2010. It set an investment rate of 816.36 billion rubles,
compared with 905.23 billion in 2010.


Ananenkov said that the program is expected to reach 1.4 billion in 2011.


The deputy head of Gazprom said that the adjustments allow gas
extraction to have a surplus of 70-90 million cubic meters daily.
