Dagestani banks issued over 4.641 billion rubles of credits in the first quarter of 2011, including 18.7 million rubles in foreign currency, the National Bank of Dagestan said, IA Dagestan reports.
Loans have increased by 41%. 63.5% of credits were issued for legal bodies and businessmen, 36.5% to individuals.
Most loans increased in the sphere of agriculture, hunting and forestry, construction, retail and gross purchases, repairing of cars, motorcycles and electronics.
Credit issuing dropped in processing industry (by 15%), transport and communication (by 50.4%) and other activities (by 28.1%).
58.7% of credits for legal bodies and individuals were spent on small and medium business.
