Russian farmers not hiring labour to be exempt from taxes

The Russian Federation Council has adopted amendments to article 217 of the second part of the Tax Code of Russia and article 4 of the law on Private Subsidiary Husbandry, which frees individuals from income tax gained from the sale of products produced from private subsidiary husbandry,  RIA Novosti reports.

These benefits are applied only to farms less than 0.5 hectare.

Moreover, the individuals shouldn’t use hired labour.
