Russia and Azerbaijan have full understanding in energy issues,
Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said today,

Azerbaijan started gas transports to Russia in 2010, about 1 billion
cubic meters were provided. About 2 billion cubic meters of gas will
be supplied to Russia in 2011.
Gazprom head Alexey Miller said in 2008 that Russia had been willing
to purchase as much gas from Azerbaijan as possible. A contract was
signed with a minimal export of 0.5 billion cubic meters.
Azerbaijan extracts 26 billion cubic meters of gas annually, President
of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag
Abdullayev said at the Caspian Oil and Gas-2011 Conference in Baku.
SOCAR discovered the Umid gas field with 200 billion cubic meters of
gas reserves and 40 million tons of gas condensate. Babek has 400
billion cubic meters of gas and 80 million tons of gas condensate,
Absheron and Nakhchyvan have 600 billion cubic meters.
Azerbaijan has 10 billion tons of hydrocarbons, 4.2 billion tons of
them have been confirmed.
