Construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be completed in
late 2012 or early 2013, Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mamedov
said at the 10th international exhibition on transport, transit and
logistics 'TransCaspian Azerbaijan' on Thursday, Trend reports.
The minister said that Turkey will complete the Bosphorus tunnel, the
Marmaris project, in 2013 for the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
Azerbaijan will launch the first stage of the international port in
Alyaty in mid-2014.
Mamedov believes that the Azerbaijani transport infrastructure will
meet international standards in three years.
