Armenia to spend $ 50 million on electricity modernization

The state commission on regulation of public services in Armenia gave
its consent today to the investment program of the company Armenian
Power. The total investment in 2011 will amount to about $50 million,
news.am reports.

The investment program of Armenian Power has 6 directions. Its main
direction is a reduction in the average duration of electricity
breakdowns and voltage deviations. This year the company is planning
to replace more than 40 thousand electric meters.
