Armenian economic growth exceeds 9%

Economic growth in Armenia in May 2011 increased by 9.9%, compared
with the same period in 2010, News Armenia cites the National
Statistics Service as saying.


Economic growth reached 13.7%, compared with April.


Consumer prices increased by 9% in May, prices for industrial products
- by 9.1%.


Armenia produced goods worth $220.7 million, rising by 25.1% in May
2011, compared with the same period in 2010.


Trade turnover reached $474.7 million, increasing by 23%.


The Armenian budget is expected to amount to 4.6% of GDP in 2011.
