Emergency landing in Tehran

An Airbus of Mahan Air made an emergency landing in Tehran from
Mashhad today. The plane had problems with the chassis that failed to
operate during the landing, Trend reports.


The runway was prepared for the landing. No one was injured.
Another plane belonging to Mahan Air made an emergency landing in
Mashhad the previous week.


A Tu-154 operated by Russian pilots crashed in Mashhad in January
2010. 46 passengers were injured.


An Il-62 crashed in Iran on July 24, 2009. 16 people were injured,
including 13 crew members. The plane went off the runway and hit a
wall.


A Tu-154 crashed at Kazvin in Iran on July 5, 2009. It was heading to
Yerevan from Tehran. 169 passengers died.
