A part of the Viziani-Gombori-Telavi road was damaged by a landslide. 24 million lari had earlier been spent on its reconstruction, Georgia Online reports.
Heavy vehicles, buses and mini-buses cannot gain access to the road anymore. On some parts of the road it is also dangerous to drive cars. However, no restrictions on traffic via the road have been developed.
The road was opened 8 months ago by Mikheil Saakashvili. It was guaranteed that the road would serve for 10 years.
