Armenian budget deficit is less than planned

In January-May 2011, the deficit of the state budget of Armenia was 8.4 times less than had been planned. The planned deficit was 56.2 billion drams (about $150 million), while the real figure is 6.7 billion drams ($18 million), News.am reports.

The total revenues of the state budget of Armenia for the first 5 months of the year amounted to 325.7 billion drams (about $880 million).
