The governor of the Rostov Region, Vasily Golubev, has approved the
program for development of aquaculture, fishing and fish processing
for 2012-2016, Yuga.ru reports.
Realization of the program will take 5 years and require over half a
billion rubles. Over 327 million rubles will be provided from the
regional budget and 225 million from other sources.
Specialists believe that it will allow raw fish production to be
increased from 17,400 tons to 34,000 tons by 2016. Fish processing
will reach 27,500 tons.
70 million rubles will be provided from the regional budget in 2012.
