A serious recession is awaiting the Krasnodar Territory after the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, according to a forecast made by a president of the "Center for Strategic Studies," Mikhail Dmitriev.
He stressed that Olympic games are generally stressful for economies. However, Olympics of 2014 will not create a problem on the national scale and will affect only the regional development of the Krasnodar Territory, ITAR-TASS reports.
