The CIS Statistics Committee said that Belarusian prices had increased
by 25.4% in January-May 2011. Tajikistan follows Belarus with
inflation of 6.9%, Kyrgyzstan - 6.5%, Ukraine - 5.5%, Armenia - 5%,
Moldova - 4.9%, Kazakhstan and Russia - 4.8%. Azerbaijan has the
lowest inflation rate - 3.4%, News.am reports.
Industrial production increased by 5.9% in the CIS, compared with the
same period in 2010.
Belarus had the highest industrial growth rate - 12.5%, Armenia -
10.3%. Azerbaijani industrial production dropped by 1.1%. Consumer
inflation in the CIS reached 5.8% in January-May 2011.
