The parliament of the Russian North Caucasian republic of Dagestan has adopted the strategy of social and economic development of the republic until 2025.
According to Nazim Alayev, the head of the republican legislature's economy committee, the aim of the newly-adopted development strategy is to improve the quality of life in the region and increase its GDP, establishing an efficient 21st century economy in Dagestan by so doing.
A special section of the document is devoted to federal target programs and issues of investment.
