The Ganca car factory in Azerbaijan has started the assemblage of
heavy trailers. A memorandum was signed with Minsk, Trend cites the
chairman of the Ganca Car Factory monitoring council, Hanlar Fatiyev,
as saying.
Jobs at the factory will rise to 1,000.
The cooperation memorandum was signed during the visit of Belarusian
Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich to the factory.
The trailer assemblage facility covers 20,000 square meters.
Azerbaijani and Minsk car and tractor facilities signed a contract in
Minsk in November 2006. The Ganca factory assembles up to 1000 trucks
and 2000 tractors annually. The Ganca factory assemble tractors
Belarus and MAZ cars.
