Mourning for victims of Volga River cruiser in Russia on Tuesday

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev announced national mourning for the
victims of the Bulgaria cruiser. The Ministries of Emergencies,
Healthcare, Transport and the Prosecutor General's Office reported
about the state of affairs to Medvedev.


Medvedev expressed condolences on his Twitter account.


The Bulgaria cruiser sank at the Kuybyshevsky water reservoir on July
10 at 14:00, with 208 people on board.


President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that some passengers
were not registered.


According to information at 11:00, rescuers had saved 79 people,
including 50 tourists, 23 crew members and 6 unregistered passengers.
12 people have been confirmed as dead.


The Bulgaria sank in the Volga River near the village of Syukeyevo in
Tatarstan on Sunday.
