Georgia renews wheat exports from Russia

Georgian traders have renewed negotiations with Russia on wheat exports, after Russia lifted restrictions on its export, Business Georgia reports.

Agreements on the export from Russia to Georgia of 30,000 tons of wheat have been in force since early July.

The first ship with Russian wheat has already arrived at the port of Poti.

This year experts predict a better harvest than last year, making wheat prices lower.
