Ban imposed after Russian boat tragedy

The Russian river registry has banned passenger vessels such as the
Bulgaria, which sank on Sunday with the loss of over 100 lives, from
entering water reservoirs until the investigation of the incident is
over, RIA Novosti reports.

This includes passenger cruisers of project 785 and it's "Л" and "Р"
modifications.

Bulgaria is a two-deck diesel vessel built in Czechoslovakia in 1955.
It sunk at Kuybyshevskoye water reservoir 3 km away from the coast. 79
out of 208 passengers were saved. Divers lifted bodies of 113 people.
They are still searching for 16 more.
