The Russia's largest oil company, Rosneft, is planning to invest 6
billion rubles in Stavropol Territory over the next five years, the
company has announced.
The President of Rosneft, Edward Khudainatov, attended a meeting on
the development of the energy sector in Stavropol Territory. As a
result of the meeting, Khudainatov signed an agreement with the
governor of Stavropol Territory, Valery Gajewski, on mutual
cooperation in the field of oil, gas, petroleum products, development
of social infrastructure and ecology.
Ten subsidiary companies of Rosneft currently operate in Stavropol
Territory. "Stavropolneftegaz" is one of the largest and oldest mining
companies of the company, founded in 1955.
