Georgia will have 8 dams under construction by the end of 2011, Deputy
Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Giorgi Kavelashvili said,

Investors have already been found for all the hydro-electric plants,
including Dariali, Larsi, Shilda, and 3 dams in Namakhvani. Nurol
Energy Production (Turkey) and SK Engineering and Construction (Korea)
are constructing dams in Namakhvani. Over $1 billion will be invested.
A total of $1.5 billion will be invested in all 8 dams.
