Iran considers national currency change

The head of the Central Bank of Iran, Mahmoud Bahmani, said that based
on the results of a public opinion poll concerning the national
currency there is high chance over the next three months the Majlis
will consider removing four zeros from the current currency.

In an exclusive interview with the IRNA news agency, Bahmani said a
special meeting will be held with members of parliament regarding the
issue.
