Most CIS citizens prefer to store cash in national currencies, the
Gallup polling service said, News.am reports.
63% of Armenians store cash in the national currency – the dram,
taking second position. Azerbaijan leads the polling list.
There are three times more CIS citizens using dollars than euros. 17%
of Armenians use dollars, 9% - euros.
Rubles are only preferred in Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and
Armenia, where only 1% of the population uses them.
Gallup questioned about 3,000 people in 2010, Radio Svoboda said.
