Tbilisi expenditure budget increased by 20 million lari

The expenditure budget of Tbilisi has been increased by 20 million
lari, the chairman of the Fiscal Committee of the Tbilisi
administration, Tamaz Shoshiashvili,  told journalists, Business
Georgia reports.

He said the budget extended funds for renovation and construction
works, particularly the construction of tunnels. The capital has also
received 5 million lari to complete a gasification project.

Shoshiashvili also mentioned the increase in tariffs for taxis and
said that Tbilisi City Hall will cover 50 percent of transportation
costs of socially disadvantaged citizens.
