Kazakhstan plans to increase oil production up to 163.5 million tones
by 2020, which will exceed the level of 2009 2.1 times, RBC reports.
The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of
the Republic of Kazakhstan said that the target is projected by the
state plan for the country's development until 2020, which was
approved today by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Coal production is expected to reach 152 million tons in Kazakhstan by
2020, and surpass the level of 2009 by 61.1%.
