Unemployment falls in Armenia

The unemployment rate in Armenia decreased by 0.4% and amounted to
6.6% in July, said today the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of
Armenia, Artur Grigorian, ARKA reports.

He also said that in connection with the economic growth registered in
Armenia in January-May, the number of newly created jobs have
increased.

According to the minister, the number of vacancies reported by the
"State Employment Service" on July 1 amounted to 1814, which is by
12.7% higher than in 2010.
