Ski Resort "Arkhyz" to create 10,000 jobs in Karachay-Cherkessia

The development of the ski resort "Arkhyz" will create 10,000 jobs in
Karachay-Cherkessia and give impetus to the development of many
industries.

General Director of the "Arkhyz-Sinara" company, Yury Starkov in an
interview to a correspondent of ITAR-TASS said that the construction
of the resort will have an important social significance and can
become a model for tourism cluster projects not only in
Karachay-Cherkessia, but also in other regions of the North Caucasus.

"According to our estimations, the development of Arkhyz complex in
Karachay-Cherkessia will create 10,000 jobs for the region. This
serious number will largely defuse social tensions present today. The
resort development is mated with the development of related fields
such as livestock breeding, agriculture, education and social services
"- said General Director of  "Arkhyz-Sinara," Yury Starkov.
