Moscow and Kutaisi to get air link

Russia's Sibir Company will open a regular air service between Moscow
and Kutaisi on August 6, Georgia Online reports.


Flights will be carried out twice a week, one Tuesdays and Sundays.
Departure from Moscow will be at 14.25, arrival in Kutaisi at 16.50. A
return flight from Kutaisi will start at 17.40 with arrival in Moscow
at 20.25.


Russia and Georgia closed air connection in August 2008 after Georgian
attack on South Ossetia. The Russian Transport Ministry permitted
charter flights between Tbilisi and Moscow by Georgian Airways.


Sibir is the first Russian company to request the Georgian Single
Transport Aviation permission for charter flights.
