The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has started evaluation of the
effect of Abasha-Senaki gas pipeline construction on the local ecology
and society, Trend reports.
This concerns the East-West section of the pipeline, which is 29 km long.
A report will be prepared as part of the second stage of realization
of the project. A public report will be published in Senaki on
September 12 and Abasha on September 13. Proposals and recommendations
will be analyzed until September 5.
