Head of the Russian Federal Migration Service, Constantine Romodanosky, says that his structure may introduce a rating system for migrants and lift quotas for foreigners willing to workas part of the concept for state migration policy until 2025, ITAR-TASS reports.
The rating will be based on age, education, skills and ability to adapt. Foreigners will have a chance to see whether they meet the criteria.
Romodanovsky says that they will lift limitations for labour and education for families of foreign workers with long-term contracts.
The concept estimates that the number of Russian workers will drop by 10 million. The number of retired will increase.
Over 45,000 foreign workers have arrived in Russia recently.
Russia is simplifying accomodation and mechanisms of entering Russia for high-skilled specialists. Such program was developed by the Federal Migration Service and the High Economy School.
