The main trade partners of Georgia are Turkey ($671 million),
Azerbaijan ($442 million) and Ukraine ($425 million), Georgian Prime
Minister Nika Gilauri said in his round-up the first half of 2011,
Business Georgia reports.
Imports increased by 36% in the last 6 months, and exports - by 44%,
he said. Exports increased by 60% in June, he added.
Georgia had a trade turnover of $1.419 billion with CIS states in
January-June 2011, increasing by 47%, compared with the same period in
2010.
Georgia imported products worth $502 million and exported worth $917 million.
Georgia's main export markets are in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
The main export products are cars, reexported from other states (23%).
