A pipeline transporting gas from Iran to Turkey was blown up this
morning, Trend reports.
The fire caused by the blast was put out. The pipeline is under reconstruction.
Iran exports an average of 30 million cubic meters of natural gas
daily to Turkey. Iran exported 21 million cubic meters to Turkey daily
in 2009. Iran has the highest natural gas reserves, after Russia, and
is the main supplier of Turkey.
