Armenia is ready to take steps in the direction of increasing the
volume of Polish capital in the country and further develop
cooperation, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at a meeting
with Armenian and Polish businessmen, ARKA reports.
The opening of a free trade zone, where entrepreneurs will be able to
implement experimental and innovative programs, is expected to attract
a number of foreign investments, including Polish businesses.
Sargsyan said that in the past 20 years Armenian-Polish economic
relations have been developing dynamically, but there is still much to
be done for the development of foreign economic relations and the use
of unrealized potential. Sargsyan added that the today’s trade
turnover of $32 million is only a small part of Armenia's potential.
