SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, a subsidiary of State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has put into operation three filling stations under SOCAR brand in Georgia, Trend reports.
One station was opened in the Kakheti region and the other two were opened in Tbilisi, the report reads.
Today, the company which began its work in 2006 now owns 74 filing stations in Georgia. It is planned to increase the figure to 100 by late 2011.
SOCAR has a number of gas stations in Azerbaijan. It is gradually opening gas stations in Ukraine and planns to open SOCAR gas stations in Romania in mid-summer.
