Azerbaijan to realize energy projects in Moldavia

Azerbaijan plans to realize energy projects in Moldavia, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Moldavia Namig Aliyev said at a meeting with Moldavian Prime Minister Vladimir Filatov, Oilru reports.


Azerbaijan had positive experience with energy projects in Hungary, Georgia and Romania.


The prime minister said that Moldavia plans transport of energy resources from the Caspian Sea to Europe. He underlined that energy security is a priority issue for the country. Filatov proposed espansion of cooperation of Moldavia and Azerbaijan within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
