Turkish airline delays flights to Armenia

Turkish Airlines Van Way Airlines has postponed for an indefinite time the launching of flights in the Armenian capital Yerevan, until it receives the necessary permission from Ankara, said the owner of the airline Arslan Bayram, 1news.az reports referring to the newspaper Hurriyet Daily News.

Bayram said, the airline was ready to launch the flight, but at the last moment Ankara asked them to postpone the start of operations.

He also said that the company has information that Azerbaijan does not support the idea of flights of Turkish Airlines from the city of Van to Armenia.

The Van Way Airlines flight planned the opening of flights on September 11.
