Today the MICEX Index fell below 1500 points for the first time since October 21, 2010 on the first day after the downgrade of the US was dashed by 3-5%, losing about 5.5% by now.
The fall of the RTS index reached 8%, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier on Monday, the RTS index fell below 1700 points for the first time since December 10, 2010.
