Nabucco Consortium confident of project's completion

The Nabucco gas pipeline is the most promising gas line from the
Caspian Sea, Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH said, quoting CEO
Reinhard Mitschek, Trend reports.

Nabucco construction is going according to schedule. It will transport
gas from Shah Deniz. 10 billion cubic meters of gas will be
transported from the Shah Deniz-2 project to Europe. The preferable
gas route will be decided in late 2011.

The Nabucco Consortium said in Q1 2011 that the first gas supplies
will be available in 2017. Shareholders of the consortium are
negotiating with gas suppliers.

The Nabucco gas pipeline will be 3900 km long. It will transport gas
from the Caspian Region to the Middle East and the EU.

The pipeline will have a maximum cap of 31 billion cubic meters
annually. The Nabucco project shares are OMV (Austria), MOL (Hungary),
Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), Transgaz (Romania), Botas (Turkey and RWE
(Germany).
