Kazakhstan and Iran expand bilateral economic cooperation

Iranian-Kazakh joint Trade and Industry Chamber will be formed to expand cooperation between the two states, head of the Iranian-Kazakh friendship association Gasem Momeni said, Trend reports.

Kazakhstan chaired the UN Security Council in 2010 and is heading the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). Kazakhstan is a key state of Eurasia, especially in terms of energy carrier export, Momeni said.

He added that they have not had constant trade relations in the private sector or among businessmen. The joint Trade and Industry Chamber may improve the situation.
