The Airlines of Dagestan has organized 75 charter flights for pilgrims
heading to Saudi Arabia and Jordan, head of the section for economy
and analysis of the company Serazhutdin Ahmedov said, RIA Dagestan
reports.
Pilgrims will be departing on October 17-30. There will be 9 direct
flights to Medina and 28 to Acaba (Jordan). 20 flights will bring
charity help of Dagestani billionaire Suleiman Kerimov. This exceeds
the previous year's flights by 5.
Return journeys will be on November 10-23.
There will be 6-7 flights daily. An additional control post is needed
to open for the pilgrims. The issue will be discussed in the near
future.
