Iran to increase oil production at Belal field

Director-General of the Iranian oil company of the continental shelf,
Mr. Zirkachiyan-Zadeh said that the company has developed a program to
increase oil production at new oil fields and fields already in use at
the field Belal, and is expecting that oil production in this field in
the near future will exceed 40 thousand barrels per day, IranNews
reports, citing Iriba News.

In addition, Zirkachiyan-zade noted, that the Belal oil field will
produce about 500 million cubic foot of gas. The gas reserves at the
field are estimated at 6 trillion cubic feet.

Today, the Belal field produces 30 thousand barrels of oil per day.
