Dagestan’s president, Magomedsalam Magomedov, met in Makhachkala on Thursday with representatives of business circles of China, headed by the president of Norinko International Cooperation, Wang Jinping, RIA Dagestan reports referring to the press service of the head of the republic.
Dagestani Prime Minister Mohammed Abdullaev, Deputy Prime Minister Medzhidov Mukhtar, presidential adviser Kazbek Kandaurov, the project coordinator, and the head of the International Engineering Department of Norinko International, Jang Yuhui, were also among the meeting’s participants.
During the meeting the questions of construction of a cement plant in the republic and the creation of a facility to assemble minibuses by the Chan company were discussed. The parties confirmed their interest in these projects, agreement on the implementation of which was reached in Beijing in the framework of the Fourth Russo-Chinese Economic Forum, and expressed hope for successful continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
