SOCAR increases gas extraction

SOCAR extracted 626.7 million cubic meters of gas in July, compared
with 609.9 million in June, 1news.az reports.


The Oil and Gas Extraction Management extracted 582.6 million cubic
meters of gas in July.


The Shah Deniz field yielded 44.1 million cubic meters for SOCAR and
16.9 million for other operators.


Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli yielded 284.1 million cubic meters of gas to
SOCAR. SOCAR sold 243.1 million cubic meters from Shah Deniz.


SOCAR extracted a total of 4.260 billion cubic meters by August 1,
compared with 4.517 billion in first 7 months of 2010.


The Oil and Gas Extraction Management extracted 3.997 billion cubic
meters. SOCAR had a share of 283.4 million from Shah Deniz, operating
companies - 123.2 million. SOCAR received 2.214 billion cubic meters
from ACG, 785.2 million were sold from Shah Deniz.


SOCAR extracted 7.578 billion cubic meters in 2010, compared with
7.327 billion in 2009. The Oil and Gas Extraction Management extracted
7.021 billion.


SOCAR has a share of 557.4 million cubic meters in Shah Deniz,
operating companies - 112.5 million. SOCAR gave 3.437 million cubic
meters from ACG, 1.613 billion were sold from Shah Deniz.
