The director general of the Iranian Oil Company for central districts,
Mehdi Fakur, said that Iran is ready to sign a contract on joint
development of common oil fields with Iraq, Iran News reports.
Fakur said that the contract is under legal procedures of development.
A limited number of foreign companies may be involved.
