The Iranian Oil Ministry is trying to avoid international sanctions imposed on the country after it launched its own nuclear programme despite the UN Security Council's resolution.
The country's Oil Minister Ristam Gasemi asked Iranian leader to vest him with more powers needed to avoid international sanctions, Iran News reports.
According to Gasemi, he hopes the leader will answer his request.
