BP extracted 19 million tons (140.4 million barrels) of oil from the
Azeri-Chirag-Gunsehli (ACG) field in the first half of 2011, Trend
reports.
Daily oil extraction in January-June 2011 was 785,700 barrels.
BP extracted 40.6 million tons of oil (300.4 million barrels) in 2010,
compared with 40.3 million in 2009.
$325.3 million was spent on operating expenses and $874.9 million as
capital expenditure.
ACG is expected to cost $628 million, with $1.998 billion of capital
expenditure.
$426 million was spent on exploitation and $1.648 billion as capital
expenditure in exploiting the ACG. The shares of the oil field are
split between ВР (operator) - 35.8%, Chevron - 11.27%, Inpex - 10.96%,
SOCAR - 11.%, Statoil - 8.5%, Exxon - 8%, ТРАО - 6.7%, Itocu - 4.3%
and Hess - 2.7%.
