The South Stream gas pipeline will resolve all the problems with the supply of gas to the Krasnodar Territory, RIA Novosti cites Piter Gaz Ltd as saying.
According to Leonid Chugunov, head of the new projects department of Gazprom, the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline will allow the company to solve several acute problems, including the one of providing Krasnodar Territory with gas.
The pipeline will provide Krasnodar with additional 5 billion cubic metres of gas, Krasnodar vice governor Vadim Lukuyanov said.
