Russia expects to continue cooperation with Libya

Russia is actively assisting the political process in Libya, Russian
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, ITAR-TASS reports.

The minister reminded a press conference that Russia and Libya have
had friendly ties for many years.

Libyan rebels may limit the operations of Russian oil companies in the
country after the fall of Gaddafi’s regime. A manager of the Arabian
Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) said that Russia has no problems with
Italian, French and British companies.

Libya had about 75 Chinese companies operating before the war started.
Russia was represented by Gazprom Neft and Tatneft.
