Chechenavto has produced the first Lada-Priora cars for the 60th
anniversary of former Chechen President Ahmad Kadyrov today, RIA
Novosti cites the director of the factory Ayndi Kuzumov as saying.
Mass production will start in late September. Up to 400 vehicles will
be produced by the end of the year. The factory will produce up to
4,000 cars annually.
Chechenavto may produce up to 50,000 cars annually. It is expected to
produce AvtoVAZ vehicles as well. Production of the cars will be held
together with AvtoVAZ.
