Iran plans to increase strategic fuel reserves by 1 billion liters to
have enough for 60 days, Mehr reports.
The current reserves are 11.5 billion liters.The reserves are to reach
17 billion liters.
Iran has over 13,000 km of pipelines, 3,831 km of which are for oil
transport and 8,860 km for transport of oil products.
The five-year program will increase the oil pipeline length to 5,540
km and oil pipeline product to over 11,000 km by 2015. Over 540 km of
pipelines were opened during the Government Week.
